Premium Jane currently offers two types of gummy products in our Delta 9 product range. What is Delta 9, you might ask? Well, it's the compound from cannabis that we all know and love. At Premium Jane, however, all of our delta 9 products for sale are made and extracted from hemp - not marijuana. This makes the products 100% legal within the guidelines of the 2018 U.S. Farm Bill, which states that hemp-derived products must not contain more than 0.3% THC (delta 9) by volume.

Both hemp and marijuana are classified under the same genus of plant - Cannabis sativa L. Generally speaking, there are two ways to make hemp-derived delta-9. You can either extract the cannabinoid from the hemp plant itself or use a chemical process in which CBD from hemp is dissolved in a solvent and then converted into delta-9. Since day one, Premium Jane has always lab-tested every product we make, and our Delta 9 products are no different. These gummies are made from top-grade CBD that is extracted safely and purely from U.S.-grown hemp.
All three of these cannabinoids are derived from hemp. The effects of Delta 8 and Delta 9 are similar, though many say Delta 9 is the more potent. CBD has no psychoactive effects, so it should not be compared in the same category as D8 and D9. CBD has many therapeutic effects, as evidenced by our award-winning collection of products here at Premium Jane, but people generally do not use CBD to experience the same results as they do with Delta 8 and Delta 9.
The cannabis plant naturally generates over 100 cannabinoids, including CBD, delta-8, and delta-9. Delta-8, a minor cannabinoid, is present in small concentrations in the plant compared to delta-9, which is present in hemp at a volume of up to 0.3% by dry weight. Both delta-8 and delta-9 have the potential to cause psychoactive effects or a "high." However, this depends almost exclusively on the quality and quantity of D8 or D9 in the product. Also, despite their similarities, delta-8 and delta-9 differ in many ways.
Delta 9 THC has enjoyed well over 60 years of scientific research, whereas Delta 8 is relatively new in comparison. The main distinction between delta 8 and delta 9 is potency. Very generally speaking, delta 8 can be anywhere from one-third to one-half as potent as an equivalent amount of delta 9.
Also, delta 9 exists naturally in hemp, whereas almost all delta 8 products are extracted and refined from CBD (derived from hemp).
This depends on a variety of factors. If you use delta 9 infrequently, traces of the compound will typically be expelled from the body within a week to 10 days. For more consistent users, however, delta 9 can be detected for well over a month.
The amount of time delta 9 stays in your system, however, will depend largely on factors including age, weight, gender, metabolism, and more. There is no exact answer that is applicable to every situation, for every person.
Refer to the "Recommended Use" section on your product's label, which says to take 1-2 gummies daily as a dietary supplement. Premium Jane does not recommend consuming more than the recommended serving in a 24-hour period.
This is a question that a lot of people ask, but the question itself doesn't really make sense. Delta 9 is THC, so it doesn't make sense to ask how much THC is in Delta 9. A better way to look at it is to gauge the amount of delta 9 in the product as a whole. At Premium Jane, our delta 9 gummies contain 10mg of delta 9 in a single serving (i.e. one gummy).
Although delta 9 is currently lawful under the guidelines of the 2018 Hemp Farming Act, states are actively developing their own guidelines on the compound. Premium Jane closely monitors all regulatory updates regarding delta 9 and other hemp-derived products - if delta 9 is unavailable in your state, we will do our best to make this information clear and transparent.
See the above section, "What Are the Differences Between Delta 9, Delta 8, and CBD?" for a more detailed response to this question, but in general, delta 9 is at least twice as strong as Delta 8. However, this can greatly depend on a number of factors and will vary for each person.
Delta 9 has numerous effects and benefits, including calming the spirit and elevating the mind. Like delta 8, delta 9 interacts with the body's CB1 and CB2 cannabinoid receptors, including those in the central nervous system. The activation of CB1 receptors can result in a psychoactive experience, including altered perceptions of space and time.
At Premium Jane, we currently offer Delta 9 products in the form of gummies. We are continuing to expand our line to include even more offerings in the future.
