The kava plant is native to the South Pacific Islands and is also known as Piper methysticum. It is possible that the plant originates from Northern Vanuatu on the island of Maewo, and research indicates that cultures in the region have used it ceremonially and recreationally for more than 1,500 years!
In the 17th century, a pair of Dutch navigators observed usage of the plant on the island of Futuna, while there is a botanical drawing of the plant in London’s Natural History Museum, which was drawn in the second half of the 18th century.
Early oceanic explorers believed the kava plant to be so valuable that they included it in their list of necessities when traveling. So, why are so many people interested in trying “The Pacific Elixir?” Let’s find out!
As you have probably guessed, our kava gummies feature kava extract. This is a departure from the traditional usage of kava as a beverage. The term “kava” comes from “awa,” a Polynesian word for bitter. So, you’re free to give the kava drink a try if you come across it, but you might not adore the taste.
Alternatively, you can get all the benefits of kava gummies without having to endure unwanted bitterness by trying our product. Each gummy contains 30mg of kava extract and is available in a pineapple taste that our customers love. In case you’re wondering, kavalactones are the chemicals found in the plant that result in its effects.
Don’t be fooled! 30mg of kava extract is plenty, and, according to our customers, a single gummy is enough to have noticeable effects. As a general rule, we recommend using a maximum of two in any 24-hour period. Also, if you’re a first-time user, it makes sense to start with half a gummy.
If you’re using kava to help you unwind, it’s best to do so in the evening as bedtime approaches. You can try it in the morning or afternoon, but don’t be surprised if you feel the sudden urge to have a nap! Also, we don’t recommend using kava if you’re due to operate heavy machinery or complete a challenging task later that day.
As we mentioned earlier, the traditional kava drink may have a certain charm, but you’ll need to add something to mitigate the bitterness. You may also find various kava powders on the market, which aren’t the best option for convenience.
By contrast, you can consume one of our kava gummies whenever you wish. No special preparation is needed; just pop the gummy in your mouth and enjoy!
We don’t put our name on anything that doesn’t meet our exacting standards, and our kava gummies are no different. Like the rest of the growing Premium Jane range, this product is fully third-party lab-tested and free from harmful chemicals.
Only the best kava root is good enough for us, and we take great care to avoid including any unnecessary ingredients. We know that the Premium Jane brand is synonymous with quality, and we intend to keep it that way.

What if it’s already been opened?
You may request to refund or exchange an opened product, as long as the package and/or labeling has not been destroyed, damaged, or otherwise tampered with.

Yes. All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. (You will receive e-mail instructions with how to package, address, and ship items for return).
In general, you should look to consume a kava gummy around 60 minutes before bedtime. You have the option to chew it right away or savor the flavor first.
Although kava is an exciting product, research into its full list of effects is ongoing. One thing we can tell you is that the industry is already filled with low-grade products. We ensure that our kava gummies are fully lab-tested and include the plant’s roots rather than ‘fillers.’
Ideally, you will not give kava to minors. Our gummies are specifically created for usage by adults. Do not give kava to a child before consulting with a medical professional.
According to some reports, there’s a possibility of liver issues. However, such cases appear to relate mainly to people who use large doses in the long term. It’s also entirely possible that cases of liver toxicity could be due to other causes within the individual.
While it depends on where you live, we tend to ensure that customers receive their gummies in 3-9 working days.
We are here to help you!
