Rating (5 / 1)

Go into just about any town or city center in the USA, and you see scores of stores selling CBD products. Major cities and metropolitan areas in Alabama are no different. If you’re interested in how to find the best CBD products in Alabama, however, you’re in the right place.

In this article we’ll discuss the assortment of products out there on the market that you might see for sale. We’ll also discuss what goes into making a quality product, so that you can have the tools to identify a well-made CBD product from a poorly-made one. After all, the quality of your CBD oil is only going to be as good as the quality of hemp that it comes from.

You’re Not Alone if You’re Curious About CBD Laws in Alabama

Even today, there are a lot of people out there that still have questions about CBD laws in Alabama. And it’s understandable – it can definitely be a complex subject not only in Alabama, but across the USA as a whole.

Much of the confusion stems from the U.S. Farm Bill, which President Donald Trump approved way back in 2018. The Farm Bill allows for the cultivation of hemp, so many people assumed this meant CBD products would be allowed without question, everywhere.

Unfortunately it’s not so simple as this. While the Farm Bill does allow for hemp cultivation, individual states still have the option of whether or not they want to adopt it. And in fact, the Farm Bill actually doesn’t say anything about CBD at all. CBD is just one component of hemp extract – which is why some brands are starting to label the products as “hemp extract oils” rather than “CBD oils.”

As far as CBD oil in Alabama, residents of the state know that there are already a lot of products out there for sale. You might even live close to a dedicated CBD store in Alabama. However, it can be difficult to gauge the quality of these products that are out there in retail stores. Rarely do they come with lab reports that allow you to view the specific cannabinoid content of the oil.

In other words, if you’ve been wanting to buy CBD in Alabama, we suggest you become familiar with what a quality CBD oil really is. For some of the most trusted and effective USA-made products, Premium Jane is the perfect place to start.

Capsules are incredibly convenient and easy to use – just swallow one with a sip of water. It is as simple as that!

If you have a sweet tooth, you will love our CBD gummies. These delicious CBD edibles are vegan, vegetarian, and offer a robust 25mg of CBD per gummy. CBD topicals are another great option, and enable you to rub the compound on the skin into a targeted area.

Hemp Cultivation and Industrial Hemp in Alabama

There has actually been an Alabama Industrial Hemp Research Program in place since 2014. More recently, however, Alabama has approved the cultivation of hemp under broader commercial agriculture regulations. In fact, there were almost 800 applications submitted for the 2020 hemp program alone. The Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries (ADAI) are in charge of the licensing process, but interestingly, the ADAI only allows a 5-week window for applications between early October and mid-November.

Farmers can only grow cultivate hemp in Alabama if they are an approved grower, processor, handler, or university under the pilot research program. The ADAI launched proceedings in early 2019, so it has been interesting to see how things have developed. To apply, interested parties must submit a completed application to the ADAI. It is a similar process whether you grow, process, or handle the plant. You must also request a criminal background check from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA).

There is a non-refundable $200 application fee for those interested in growing hemp in Alabama. Upon approval, you will pay an additional $1,000 for every cultivation or processing site. All program members must submit several reports to the ADAI. If you neglect to do this, you face penalties of up to $500, and you could also lose your license. Also bear in mind that sale, cultivation, or possession of plants or products with a THC content of over 0.3% is strictly prohibited. Potential punishments for this breach include fines of up to $60,000.

Check out the ADAI website for a complete timeline of hemp-related events in Alabama. For example, the ADAI plans to notify applicants of approval in January of each year. Successful applicants must pay the full $1,000 before the end of January deadline. If you don’t send the required documents by early March, you could lose your Grower License.

What About Folks Who Want to Purchase CBD Online in Alabama?

There’s no denying there’s been a lot of doors opening recently for those who want to buy CBD oil in Alabama. Even though you can quite easily find CBD oil for sale in Alabama in most towns and cities, however, there is still an element of the ‘unknown’ when it comes to branding and product quality.

The reality is that few CBD oils for sale in Alabama come with a third-party lab report. Without a lab report, how can you know where a company sources their hemp? How do you even know what’s in the product? Are you supposed to just trust the label – or the guy behind the counter selling you the oil?

Lab reports are bare minimum requirements if you’re looking for a well-made CBD oil that’s worth your money. We highly recommend avoiding CBD from gas stations, or similar retail locations. It’s just too hard to know what you’re getting.

For reference on what an authentic, quality CBD really entails, Premium Jane offers third-party lab reports with our products. We also are proud to point out that our CBD comes from American-grown hemp. We sell full-spectrum products, which means you get additional cannabinoids and terpenes along with the CBD component. There’s a reason we consistently rank on lists of the best USA-made CBD oils, and it comes down to one thing – quality.

What Else Can You Tell Me About CBD Oil in Alabama?

As we’ve mentioned, there are risks attached to buying CBD in Alabam from places like gas stations and convenience stores. In many cases, it is almost impossible to view the full list of ingredients. In this situation, there is a chance that your CBD oil contains heavy metals, pesticides, and toxins.

At Premium Jane, we use CO2 extraction to take CBD from hemp. This is an ultra clean method that leaves behind no residue. It is also a complicated and expensive process, and not every company makes this critical investment.

Whatever you do, please make sure you do plenty of research and try to invest in a brand – and a product – that’s worth your money. Know what to look for, don’t trust labels alone, and use your best judgment. CBD has the power to change your life, but only if you’re using a well-made product.
